This type of weight vest can be bought in two different versions of the rubber shoulder straps.

This is a very solid vest (BCD) made of coated polyester canvas with neutral buoyancy. One-size-fits-all, adjustable on the 3mm-thick anti-slip rough rubber shoulder straps.

At the bottom of the vest, there is a crutch strap with a hook at the end which allows you to connect a Marseillaise belt to your vest should you choose to divide your weighting system between a belt and a vest. This system simply hooks the belt as a flexible hook, which differs from buckles or rings found on certain other brands’ products where you are forced to release both your vest and belt at the same time. In the case of releasing your ballast, you have the possibility to first release your belt, and then your vest.

This vest can contain up to 6kg or even 8kg, by using 6 uncoated or coated lead weights of 1kg each (or soft weights of 1kg of any size sold on the market), or otherwise 4 weights of 1kg in the 4 upper pockets plus 2 weights of 2kg in the 2 modular lower pockets. All 6 pockets are closed with a strong velcro flap.
